Well I posted a profile on myspace and it has really paid off. I have gained 14 new members in 3 days. Whooo Hooo, the power of the internet at work.
We are planning out first event, and have a few moms that are talking it up.
Internet Search Is Working
Well the internet search engine seems to be working. I actually gained 4 new members that simply did an internet search for moms groups in the area. :)
Once we hit 50 members the Mommies Network will put out a press release to area papers and radio stations. So that of course is my goal! To get to 50 really quickly.

Our First Week Has Come And Gone
Well our first week of FrederickMommies has come and gone. It has been a great week and I am proud to say that we actually have some posts being started by members.
I have added our site to a few more newsletters and support group websites in the area. And I am going to rent a table at an event here in the neighborhood to hand our flyers and promote the site. It should be a fun time.
